What is a CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. It is a great way to stimulate your local economy by supporting local farmers. Your purchase of a share box is an investment in us. The benefit to you is fresh produce throughout the season without the work of a garden or needing the space for one. A CSA also addresses a few common concerns to you the consumer!

Always Fresh!

Customers are buying locally grown food. There is no transport from a foreign country, minimal unripe picking, and no long transportation. Once produce is ready for harvest you will consistently receive a weekly box of fresh produce.

Minimal Waste!

Because of us not having to pick unripe produce we experience minimal waste. We also prevent waste by having you pay for your share box at the beginning of the season. We are then able to purchase the correct amount of seeds and supplies we need for the season.

Variety!

We include a wide variety of standard vegetables as well as some new vegetables that you may not be able to find in your local grocery store. By doing this we hope to introduce you to new vegetables and excite your taste buds with some new flavours.

Trust!

By joining a CSA you are able to communicate with the farmer. We personally understand how allergies can affect your ability to shop with confidence. We follow organic practices and are able to help you know with surety what is in your produce.
